I have a friend who is half-way done incubating a baby, and she has decided that she wants a gender-neutral Sweet Pea in a Pod theme for her nursery. Well, since nothing like that is currently pre-packaged and sold in a set that isn't targeted at Twins, I was hoping that I could solicit some decorating ideas.
Working with a white and sage green base, how would you make it more "pea" like? I have thought of commissioning a quilt. Making pillows. Knitting a stuffed, 12-inch pea pod. Collecting 3-4 paintings of pea pods and putting them in identical frames. Stenciling peas on the sides of the furniture. Large pea decals on the walls. But I am looking for more ideas.
